Bullseye! Darts comp best of its kind in the country.

Darts remain a hugely popular event at the Alice Springs Masters Games, with competitors from across the country making their way to the Red Centre to participate.

Stephen Robinson has been Coordinator of the Darts competition alongside Chris “Kojak” Lacanau since 2002.  Stephen says they have amended the format of the competition over the years to keep everyone happy.  For example, the event features no nominated doubles events with partners all drawn at random.  This does not take away from the fierce competition of the event which attracts several State representatives and high ranking players from across the country.

Teams have come from as far afield as Bega, NSW, Gympie, QLD and Perth, WA.  Stephen and “Kojak” must be doing something right as some teams are returning for their sixth or seventh time this year!

Feedback from participants has stated that it’s “the best event of its kind in the country.”

Participant numbers have doubled from 10 years ago to between 90 – 120 participants at the last two Alice Springs Masters Games.

There is no extra cost to compete in multiple events so get in quick so you don’t miss out!
