Functional Fitness will test athletes to their limits across a variety of functional movements and skills performed at high intensity.
The workouts performed will include major lifts such as deadlifts, cleans, squats, presses and clean and jerks, mixed with body weight movements such as pull ups, rope climbs, push ups, body presses, sit ups with a conditioning element like running, rowing, bike, skipping and burpees etc.
There will be two divisions on offer to cater for all fitness levels for the Alice Springs Masters Games; Open and Scaled.
Workouts will be available two weeks prior to competition.
- Friday 16 9am: Men's & Women's Individual Competition
- Saturday 17 9am: Mixed Pairs Competition
