Gillen Club to be the new venue for darts for 2018

The Alice Springs Gillen Club has been chosen as the new venue for darts at this year’s Alice Springs Masters Games. The new venue was needed to accommodate the growing number of participants and will provide more room for the 10 portable dart boards that will support the darts competition.

“It was evident that we needed to find a new venue after the 2016 Games,” Chris Lacanau (a.k.a Kojack) told the games organisers.

Kojack told Alice Springs Masters Games organisers that this year he is expecting over 100 participants from all over Australia.

Kojack said “As a coordinator of darts at the Alice Springs Masters Games I get to meet the best people on earth. The friendliness is a credit to the people and they just keep coming back!”
