Games Event Information

The Mparntwe Urgent Care Clinic is providing sports medicine services. The clinic is open to all community for urgent care and is operating with the addition of physio services available for registered competitors only. As a Medicare Urgent Care Clinic, the service is free of charge for Medicare card holders. If you are an overseas participant with no Medicare card, costs will be incurred.

Certified Sports Medicine Trainers (sports first aid) will be based at most sports and will be able to manage minor injuries and refer patients directly to the clinic if further assessment and treatment is required.

Physiotherapy will be available for competitors who need this service. After assessment, you will be referred onto the physiotherapist for further treatment if required.
