Want to get involved with the Games but not competing? Volunteer with us!

Alice Springs Masters Games 2024 is not far away! We can’t deliver this incredible event without you, though - our wonderful volunteers. Without volunteers we wouldn’t be able to run the Games and your contribution is massive to help ensure everyone from spectators to competitors have a fantastic experience. With a variety of roles available, volunteering is a great way to meet new people, connect with the community, learn new skills and enjoy the fun.

Our volunteers are divided into three categories:

• Sports Help: Assist with the organization and management of various sports events.
• Sports Medicine: Provide essential support to our sports medicine team, ensuring participant safety and well-being.
• Games Operations: Ensure the smooth running of the games from a logistical or administrative role.

Games Operations roles include:

• Accreditation: Assist with the accreditation process for participants, ensuring they have everything they need.
• Games Administration: Support the administrative tasks that keep the Games running smoothly.
• Information Booth: Be the go-to person for information and help participants find their way.
• Masters Mile: Help organize and manage this exciting event.
• Media: Assist the media team with coverage and promotion of the Games.
• Opening and Closing Ceremonies: Get involved in the spectacular ceremonies that bookend the Games.
• Operations: Support the logistics and operations team to ensure everything runs like clockwork.
• Transport: Help get the competitors, officials and spectators to their events.
